We also work closely with local specialty practices when advanced diagnostics or procedures are indicated. Our facility includes a well-stocked pharmacy, in-hospital surgery suite, in-house radiology, and a closely supervised hospitalization and treatment area.

Our team works with you to provide your pets with the preventative care they need, including: an annual physical examination, fecal examination, and vaccinations. We offer a wide variety of flea, tick, heartworm, and gastrointestinal parasite preventatives to keep your pet safe all year round. Specialized health screening for both neonatal and senior pets is strongly encouraged, so that common issues at these stages of life can be addressed as early as possible.

 
Comprehensive medical screening is performed as needed to investigate illness in your pets. Edwardsville Pet Hospital offers comprehensive blood and urine testing to rule out a wide variety of disease processes. Tests are also available to diagnose common infectious diseases in dogs and cats, such as: heartworms, tick-borne disease, Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), and Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV).

Our Radiology Department provides us with an invaluable tool to aid in difficult medical and surgical cases. Finally, we offer prophylactic dental cleaning; dental extractions; soft tissue surgery (spay, neuter, abdominal exploratory, etc.); and orthopedic surgery (fracture repair).
